So, I’m on week 4 of hanging out with a newborn. It’s been much easier this time around, and I definitely don’t feel as home-bound as I did with Harper. Reagan has been to a dive bar, Pac-12 football media hospitality suite, a birthday party and on several trips to Target with me.
Therein lies the problem. In looking for things to do to fill my days I usually come up with, “Hmmm…We need new bath towels. Let’s go to Target!” Or, “I hate all my clothes, let’s go to the mall!”
This week I decided that I needed to scale back on spending all of our money and hang out at home doing laundry, cooking, writing, exercising and other things that are free.
Today was day 2 of not leaving the house.
And, this is my partner in crime for the summer.
I’m running out of things to try and impress her with. If it doesn’t involve boobies she’s not interested. (I feel like this could also be a blog about spending the day with Laef).
So, anyway, when Harper got home from school today I was so excited to see her.
Me: “Let’s play dress up!”
Best. Idea. Ever.
Gotta go. I’m on bath duty tonight.
